Rode the bus to Houston to take my induction physical. I wound up enlisting in the Navy on a four month delay. Two months later I lost my forever buddy, my dad. The recruiter said he could get me out of it but my mom insisted I go. She was right.

just returned from Europe (my dad was CDN air force, my little brother was born in France) ... 1 Wing, 2 Wing and I think 3 wing (Canadian).

Blame my poor English the American School system .

Phonix - I can barely spell close enough for the spell checker to guess what I'm trying to say.

BTW .. Canada is little USA -- just more ........................... trying to think ............................ Socialized.

I was trying to get my mind around being a father to my 4-day old son. Like a lot of new parents, I had no clue. Truly, being a new parent, working full-time, and attending college full-time left ZERO time to sleep. I guess that's why we have kids when we're young, our bodies adjust much better.

Moved from Pittsburgh, PA to Mankato, MN because my father invested in a new upcoming company and product called disposable plastics, gloves, aprons and bags. Moved my Mom and 6 kids ages 19-6 on a whim. I was in 5th grade.

Sick as a dog in the hospital at Ft Dix during Basic. Thank goodness Drill Sergeant Ayalaa (sp) allowed me to make record fire, so I did not have to repeat Basic.
