20 yrs. as firefighter with 7 of them Flying with Air Rescue as Rescue Specialist, 360 Combat Missions Vietnam. After retirement Federal Civil service as firefighter for 17 years. Disability retired in 1999.

U.S. NAVY for 24 years (Dec 67 - Dec 91). Two tours in Viet Nam to start and two in the Persian Gulf to end - and a whole bunch of "fun" stuff in between.
Was going for 30, but someone at the "Bureau" found out that I didn't (and still don't) drink coffee. Got a little tap on the shoulder and a gruff, "That's it. You're outta here!"
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
December 1, 2011 - retired for 20 years.
