WW2 weekend

WW2 weekend is June 3,4,5 in Reading, Pa. I plan on going and staying the weekend. Looks like 3 days isn't enough time to see everything, hope to have money saved for a plane ride ( dauntless is awesome) Check it out online, it really looks like a nice event.

Lst 325

LST 325 is docked in Evansville, Indiana. I have not been there yet, but it looks like a nice museum. I do know it is the only fully operational LST , and 80 hours of volunteer work a year entitle you to sail with her to the next port of call. Watch the story of this ship and the crew that sailed her from Greece to America, and all the hardships of this project. I also read that they are looking for (Sherman tanks) to put on her for display

roxy 13019,

Relative to WW II weekend, I live close enough to the airport that the war birds fly over the house. Also been there and rode in the Dauntless. Both are great values. Enjoy your visit.
