We have a Schitzu, female 18 months old. She barks at everything when we take her outside. If we are walking her or have her in the pen. Does anyone have any suggestions as for stopping the barking?

Bark collar. Wored on my daughter's two miniature schnauzers.

If she does not like getting wet, a water pistol and squirt her in the face.

A penny can (3 or 4 pennies in a empty pop can), shake hard at her and a firm NO.

These are a few of the things that have worked for us in the past.

We had one snhnauzer that barked at his own shadow. He was very timid and it was a bluff to scare the intruder away.

Ken

I watch this all the time and have tried some of his techniques on my son's Jack Russell Terrier and Dachshund. It worked when I tried it.
