Our cat travels with us and at home she frequently uses a sisal wrapped scratching post (which saves the carpet!!). We wanted to carry one on the RV with us but it was bulky. So we purchased a length of plastic downpiping purchased from a plumbing supply store, wrapped it with dark sisal rope, glued a piece of round cherry timber to the base and have fitted it over the leg of the table. It looks great - much nicer than that thin wooden leg and our cat just loves it. In fact when we are parked up at home she hops into the motorhome and uses it!!

Wow, I love this idea. My wife wants to travel with a cat when we go full-time, and this was one of my concerns. Concern is gone now!

We have 3 cats and a kitten with us.

The 3 adults use a board I made. I can prop it up anywhere. The cats get a special treat each time they use it. It is just a different kind of cat food.

When we have been gone for several hours, get back in the coach, they run to the board to be able to get their treats.
