We have traveled and lived in the RV 3 times with a parrot or parrots. The things you need to consider since you are in a small space are watch for drafts, too much direct sunlight and also excessive fumes from cooking and other chemicals such as hair spray.
If you use Teflon lined pans, be extremely careful about overheating them. Excessively hot Teflon gives of a fume that is deadly to birds. So, be sure and run the vent fan when cooking and open a window near the area to pull air through. Also vent with the hair spray and keep it confined to the bath.
Our birds spend a great deal of time out of the cage on the play pen tops. They need the exercise and also watch to make sure to watch they can't reach parts of the RV to chew and shred.
