It is a very sad and heartbreaking day for us. We sent Dax to the Rainbow Bridge this morning. She was very restless last night and could not get comfortable. She also was exhibiting some neurologic symptoms such as not being able to "right" her paw while walking. We guessed the tumor was pressing on her spinal cord...........

So we called our Vet and she came over to release Dax. We always try to do that at home so all the furkids can say goodbye to a family member. Surf was especially sad as he loved her so much. That was probably the most painful was watching him whine and kiss her.........

She is pain free--running and playing. She will always be alive in our hearts as she was the MOST gentle soul who loved everyone who crossed her path.

I am so sorry, but bless you for the great life that you gave to Dax and I pray that Surf will do OK soon

Oh, Karen and Jeffrey, we are sooooo sorry to hear about Dax. It is always hard to let go of our pets who have shown us such love and devotion - not to mention entertained us with their antics.

She will live on in your memory and heart and hopefully some day soon those memories will bring you more joy than pain.

We share your sadness.

I don't know you, but I know your loss and how much love is given and how memories are cherished. Best wishes going forward...

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We've been through this too many times. Someone once told me that the problem with our pets is that we live too long. At times like this, it almost feels like that's right.

Oh, Karen & Jeffrey, my heart goes out to you. Even when you know it's time, it cannot ease the pain of losing your companion. I know you cherish every moment you've had with Dax, and have given her the best life a dog could want. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

And Steve B., we have a chocolate lab too, and know how very wonderful (and goofy) they are. Our thoughts and prayers to you, too. I bet she's smiling her lab smile down on you right now!
