I know one thing, hats off to all groomers!

I tried it, went and bought all the stuff, was gonna do it myself to save money, after 30 minutes, I boxed everything back up and decided grooming is an ART and I am not an ARTIST in that area!

If you are in a park for any length of time, with management's permission, I'm sure you would find a great little sideline of small dogs that would be needing your services. I think that's a great idea. Plus your years of experience is also a major asset when it comes to marketability.

Good luck and keep us posted.!

Our Duchess girl is gone now - waiting at the rainbow bridge. She loved to travel & I always looked for groomers where we went. Lots of places we go are return trips as the parks are close to family. If you aren't an insurance or liability issue for a park, I would hope they would allow your service in the park. It would be an added benefit for dog owners.

We travel now with our 3 cats. I can clip their claws myself so no more trips to a groomer or the vet for claws. I did attempt to take care of Duchess but as she got older, the less cooperative she became. I think she liked her spa days & to that I can relate!

Great Idea, I would use your service, we have 2 girls and only one needs to be clipped, Toy poodle, the other on sheds her coat. I say go for it if they say no then maybe the next spot will allow you, Good luck and again good idea.

I would use your service if only to get their nails clipped regularly. I'm a real baby when it comes nail clipping time.

I would write up a proposal and summit it to some of the chains (like KOA maybe). That way everything wold be on the up and up and the campgrounds would consider it a "service". make contact with other RV dog groomers and set a standard rates and donations to campground. Works out we could set up a Franchise deal... Sorry, I got carried away- forgot I'm retired.

OR you could just name your RV something like Dog Clipper and get all the pick up bis you what.

True professionals make their job look easy. But is is NOT. As I used o tell my employees:"If it was easy, every one would do it and you would be out a job."

I hear that, it is a definite art of design and patience!

Oh come on! My 80 pound Husky needs DE-furring. You just need a dip-sty-dumpster nearby.

I think it is a great idea. And I agree with most other posts about checking with management of the campground. If they agree, hang your sign. I wouldn't be surprised if you had more business then you both could handle. Best of luck and Happy Rving.
