If she can handle 3-4 hours , stick to that limit , no point in getting everyone stressed . Good luck , a loving dog is worth the hassle

We are going on a three month caravan to Alaska which is a long time to board her or have a dog/house sitter.

We just got back from a quick getaway with our two dogs. It was a first for them and I thought it went super well. I think one of the reasons it went so well was because we brought their kennels with us. On the first day of driving when they felt the motion they both RAN into their safe space. Once they figured the motion was normal they would venture out and walk about but as soon as they felt a little insecure they ran back into their kennel.

Overall our first outing with TWINKEE and SUMMER was a great success!

Regards.

We are very lucky that both our dogs love riding in the MH. All we need to do is open the door and ask them "wanna go camping?"

Friends of ours have a dog that gets nervous when left alone in their camper and proceeds to chew things up. A Thundershirt worked for them.

In our new tow jeep, he has a zip line to a harness and loves it as well..... Patience was our key.... Good luck....
A great solution, well done....

Thundershirt owners. How many times did you need to use it before you obtained results? We had big storms come through here yesterday ... put the shirt on ... she handled the initial rain and thunder ... we were encouraged ... then the skies opened and the really loud thunder appeared and off she went hiding in the closet. :-(

Hmmm, I haven't used it for thunder anxiety, but Lily wore her shirt maybe 6-8 times in 2 weeks before she no longer needed it. Make sure it's snug around the chest.

I find Susie in very loud boomers still gets a little anxious, but her overall panic levels are about 80-90% less than without it.

I would say make sure it's snug includingthe breast/chest velcro hookup.I do notice if its even slightly loose or not snug, it doesn't work as well.....

Try to put it on ahead of the storms, if she is already spun up, it doesn't work as well......

Hope this helps!

Try the THUNDERSHIRT.

It works!
I'll vouch for these as well. They have calmed our two for sure.
