Anyone here do the east coast circuits? Toward the north east .. If so I might see you at one of them this year
I am into terriers.
I mainly go to shows in PA, NY, NJ, VA, MA NH, MD
Does anyone do the All terrier show in Grayslake in IL? If so how are the hookups there. I have not been out to that one yet ... not once in thirty years.. I can't believe it myself.

I'm sitting here in the parking lot of the University of Phoenix (Arizona Cardinals) Stadium and its raining dogs (no cats at this show). At most shows we ask to park on the grass, but after having the RV sink to its axles in the lawn at the Alamogordo show during a storm, I'm switching to asphalt!

One of the east coast shows.. Old Dominion in Virginia .. they use to park us at the bottom of the hill in a field. They moved that show to a different site, but I really liked the location where it used to be, when it was dry. But.. when it was wet it was a NIGHTMARE lol
Ludwigs corner in pa was another pain in the rain lol. That show has gone downhill in the last few years. This last year they parked us parallel to the slope on a hill which was brutal to level out on. Much easier when you are facing the downhill with the motorhome. I don't think Rau has much sense when they plan parking at this or other shows. They are also terrible at keeping people from parking around the MH's and if there is ever a fire it would be a problem. A bunch of us had to complain at one of the shows to the fire marshall because of that as it was the only way to open up enough area to get apparatus in if need be. LOL they brought the fire and police at the next show and boy did Rau tow the line then. LOL They are not to smart to allow that, it could open them up to a lawsuit if there was a fire.
I had a problem with them this last ludwigs also, they let people park around me in the day. I am paying big money for that spot and I was very upset as I should have use of the area I pay for. Same story with Rau, they don't care and unless the authorities are called they will pay no attn.
One smart farmer for one of the Mass shows had his tractor there and pulled people out. Cheaper than getting a tow truck and it was a bunch of pocket money for the farmer.
Sometimes when they park me I wait to set up and when I get a shot at a spot on higher ground I go for it and just move the rig.

Just had that at the St. Helen's show in Oregon. We've had so much rain here that the Class C, next to me, sank to their axels and had to get a tow truck to get them out. Was a beautiful sunny day (the only one this month, so far).
We had 6.41 inches of rain last month (WAY above normal) and the water table is about .25" from the surface right now.
SO ready for Spring!!!

I am headed (by van since its so far) to shows this weekend in MS. Anyone going to be there? Would pop in and say hello. I will be at the golden rings. Crazy enough to enter class dog, class bitch and BOB - What was I thinking? Should be a fun weekend. Love smaller shows for o/h who isn't a great handler (but great owner)

Anyone ever been to the Olympic HorsePark in Conyers GA? Just wondering how far away from Walker Arena is the RV parking spots? I can't find anyone who has been there.
17 days until heading out for the National!!!

Just got home from the Prescott (AZ) Area KC event. I'm so ready to stop taking RWB and take some points for a change with my whippets! Darn pro handlers!
Last week we were in Greeley, CO for the Affenpinscher National. Wonderful venue!!!

We have just started to enjoy RVing with our show dogs and pets, we have two Afghan Hounds and 2 Chinese Cresteds and one Cat. We will be traveling up to NY and than make our way down to Orlando. Would like to know some good RV places that are pet friendly?

We'll be at the dog show at Westworld in Scottsdale the first week in March 2012 and then at the show at University of Phoenix in Glendale in April.
Our most recent litter of affenpinschers was born six months ago and we showed Dynamo in the bred-by class last week at the Phoenix dog show. She won BOW, BOS, WB twice for major wins both days. Not bad for her first show.
Here's a photo of Dynamo and Cammi.
