I've got a GREAT idea Karen, lets invite MonocoMama to a show with us and we can all party after some wins. Bet she/you M.M. can't leave the computer at home! Actually Jo and I are planning to travel the northwest again this year and try to catch up on some sightseeing and shows that we missed while the winter was chasing us down to AZ. I want to see SacsTC and M.M.'s Diplomat too. Ummmm...yeah, yeah, I know....we already had the chance.

Oh, that reminds me, I better stock up on some vanilla vodka and some more Godiva chocolate liquer.

BTW, we're now at Palm Creek RV and Golf Resort in Casa Grande. This place is COOL! I can't believe we're only spending $200.00 a month for an introduction fee. We'll have to pony up the electricity cost at the end of the month...but still!

Thanks again for dogsitting the kids at your place while we were at Beaudry RV. Everything went well there.

See you in a few days. Oh yeah, when will we see you all on TV? Just thought I'd tickle everyone else's curiosity with that one.
Cheerio,

Tom

Well Gang,
The Tuscan shows has come and gone and we're nestled back in Casa Grande.

Gracie took her first two points towards her championship yesterday and got "Best Opposite Sex". We're pretty happy with that. She didn't spazz out in the ring like she did the first day and kept all four paws on the ground.

Dash's coat wasn't in good shape and Jo's going to strip him out and we'll start over with him.
All in all, it was a good show. Until the Casa Grande shows we'll be relaxing in the sun. See Ya.

Tom

Surf took Best of Breed both days at Tucson. He took a Group 3 on Sunday so that was exciting!
Tom and Jo were ringside as usual cheering him on and I was pacing as usual.
Sparkle showed well---period.
Congrats to Tom and Jo for Gracie's Winner's ***** win on Sunday!
It was warm in the sun there! Supposed to be 88 today here in Gilbert.
Until next show report...........
HOw is everyone else doing? What about Gordon setters, agility dogs, etc?????

Another dog show weekend coming up for Mom2mastiffs and AKBrick and the Norwiches.........
We are headed to Casa Grande, Az for a 2 day show. The site is dirty, dusty so we can only hope it's not windy like last year. Although it will be HOT--supposed to be 94 this weekend and Thankfully we show inside so let's hope it's cooler indoors!!
Time for lots of salsa, guacamole, salads and of course Georgia Peach martinis or maybe we'll try a new kind this weekend--maybe Raspberry...
Ah such trouble when the mastiff and Norwich people get together
Will let you know how things go for all of us.....

Have a wonderful evening.....

I don't know how it will be at the show this weekend but it was pretty darn blustery yesterday. We didn't even think about putting up the awning. It's been this way for a few days. So far this morning there is barely a breeze. Hopefully a good omen and a good amen to that for this weekend!

Who's going too peel the peaches? We also have the stuff for chocolate martinis, and marguaritas and what-not.

We're only going to show Gracie this weekend because Dash is out of coat. Jo stripped him down so he can start over again. I'm sure he's probably cooler than Gracie in this Arizona sunshine.
See ya tomorrow,

Tom

Okay, okaaaaay,
The connection is KILLING me, ...umm not to mention the marguaritas I just consumed.

Gracie took her class, but did not advance like we hoped. She's still getting some experience and we're not dissapointed.

I'll let Karen tell you about thier show...
Oh wait, I'm not supposed to give you a hint.

Great I just typed a long summary of today's show and when I sent it I lost signal. So again I write.
Surf won Best of Breed today and then went on to win a Group ta da, drum roll please, Group 1!! We went to Best in Show but the Corgi took it. Surf showed really well and looked like a million bucks!
The wind was horrific--stirred up the dust so you could barely see in front of you!
Hopefully this post will go through!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

AKBrick & m2m,
I know little (nothing really) about dog shows, but congrats on doing well. Mic tells me these are very good results. Sorry you are suffering through the AZ dust storms. We've seen many a haboob that make it impossible to see across the street.

Okay, 0700 AM on the second day of the dogshow here in Casa Grande. The weather looks good with minimal breezes. The internet weather calls for 12 mph wind later but that's no big deal compared to yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed.
