Recently (6mos ago) started RVing with a 27' TT. Saw one MH with a cat cage that mounts on an open window, allowing the cat an outdoor perch. Got the address of the manuf. but have not been able to contact. Does anyone know where we could obtain one? I saw mention of it on this forum, but could not get the info.

Sorry, never seen or heard of one. What we have done is buy a large wire dog crate,it folds flat and fits under the bed.We set it up outside, usually on the picnic table so our fur baby can get fresh air, squirrel and bird watch. At a campground in Titusville,Fl. there is a very large squirrel population and when enticing them with peanuts they have even come up on the table a couple of feet from her cage!Fun to watch!

Thanks for the info. Had looked at Dr Foster & Smith, but did not notice that one. We have since upgraded to a class A, so a different window configuration.

Here is are links to what I did for an exterior mounted cat cage. The original posts are in the Monaco Owner's Forum if the links do not work.

Thanks for the info. I am impressed with the cat cage on your Monaco. The cat looks very comfortable. Did you modify a folding "dog cage"? In looking at it, it appears to be one. I was looking at some and thought that I could modify a medium dog cage to do the trick. I would have to screen the cage and put retainers on the bottom tray to keep my small escape artist from lifting up the tray and going out through the larger grating on the bottom.

Thanks for the info. Are now traveling in a Itasca Suncruiser 38T. Looks like it would fit some of my windows. Cats are enjoying more spacious accomadations but am sure they would like to have a Kat Kabana.

If you haven't bought one yet, it looks like you may be in luck. They have now started selling just the basic customized frame of the Kitty Kat Kabana at a very affordable entry price (IMHO). You can always obtain the Enclosure later. We found, that in some areas of the country we never bothered with the enclosure at all as there were no insects around to bother us or the cats.
