Fabulous for Fido (?)

My second winter travelling with large breed dog; last winter spent it mostly in Lake Havasu Az which has wonderful Sara Park; miles of desert washes; decent selection of off leash fenced dog parks.
Hoping to travel some California this time so looking for info on dog-fabulous parks/places for months of long distance walking/hiking off leash. I am considering staying in the desert region of California...in case I do not like I can always head back to Lake Havasu.

Fabulous FUN for Fido!

That's awesome...would not want to have your grocery bill for those 2. First Pyrenees I ever met was on a ranch/farm and I was considering exiting my truck when he got up and decided to grab my bumper and bob with it, I gave pause and waited for 'distraction' to show up b4 getting out. Beautiful animals...and you must never wear black with 2 whities?!
Can you share any positive experiences/places you were able to take/exercise the dogs while in California?
I ask because I drove back to Canada thru Utah planning to do lots of hiking/exploring the area: Utah big parks very anti-dog
