We are useualy acompanied by Amy (2.5 yo FM Border Collie/Blue Healer mix) and Simon (2 yo M orange cat). We always have the cat and try to avoid places that are not dog friendly. Neither of them would appreciate being left behind an they KNOW when we are getting ready for a trip and get quite excited as they love traveling!

Two German Shepherds and a miniature Schnauzer live on board fulltime with us . The shepherds grew up in the RV (well not this RV, our previous one) and the schnauzer loves it as well.

Our dogs are the reason why we travel in an RV. And which dog doesn't love to travel with it's pack? Our present crew are Lolliepops and Jujju, both Shar Pei. Even the coach is named after one of our dogs. Buka was loved by all and stubborn to a fault , so much so that his nickname 'Donkey' is our personalized licence plate , named in his honour and memory.

I do not board my dogs, and don't like to leave them with anyone. That's one of the reasons, a major one, that I bought a TT and now a 5er. I only had Holly, the black and tan, when I bought the TT. Buster, the piebald, made 2 trips in it before I bought the 5th wheel.

Having a monkey, traveling in an RV is the only option. Too many hotels and motels just don't want us. And, she would have more luggage than I would.

We generally have 4-6 large breed dogs so our MH must accomodate them as well as us. With two homes in Florida a MH is the easiest way for us to travel between the two & one of our compact suvs towed behinf it.

Bess dog generally goes with, but when we went to Yellowstone, I did not take her, she would not have had a good time as I wouldn't have been able to leave her out much due to wildlife and taking her around all those boardwalks and being worried she might step off into a hot pool or nasty chemicals squirting up and getting into her face would have been awful. we weren't at the campsite much, mostly driving around to the different places, she would have been lonely. Everywhere else I've gone I've taken her.

We just started fulltiming in December and our "Old English Sheepdog" travels with us. She loves to be with us and I agree what dog would not want to go with their pack family. She travels well and never seems to miss the S&B home. And why not, she gets more walks during the day and meets so many more wonderful people and dogs. A great life for a dog or dogs.

We travel with our 3 boxers...and sometimes with our foster boxer (if we have one at the time of our trip). I love it when people pull up next to us and see one of the boxers sitting in the passenger seat like they are a person. Always a double-take from them and then laughter!

How many people travel with their pets?

Are you kidding me? Our Springers let us travel with them!

<<<<<---- Oscar leading the charge!

Seriously, it was one of the reasons that we decided to get a MH. We never go anywhere in it without them.
