Everyone I would like to introduce Jr. I don’t know if this should be done in Rving with Pets, because Jr. is one of my coworkers, but being canine might put him is this thread . Jr is a fulltimer and lives in a 2002 Winnebago 37ft. DP and with his Captain travel the country building power lines. Jr.’s main job when he gets to the job site is not to go sniffing and scenting, but to go greet everyone and get them in a good mood for a days work and at the end of the day he personally likes to tell everyone goodnight. Once on the job site Jr.’s job is to warn his coworkers of snakes and varmints and of course he is free to do some sniffing and scenting. Jr. is a pleasure to work with and not like some coworkers Jr. is not trying to nip at you’re heels or trying to bark orders all day. The two pictures above show Jr. on the way to the job and on the job. These happen to be in the Bishop CA. area in the fall of 2007. Shortly after this Jr. went to help the poor citizens of San Diego during the fire and then to Los Vegas . When the winter storm hit Northern Ca. Last Jan. Jr. didn’t fly with the rest of his crew, his job was to make sure the yard grunt didn’t get lost bringing the tool trailer from Nev. to the Chico area. And then it was back to Vegas until spring and Morgan Hill Ca. for a Helicopter job. So You can see Jr. is very busy but in late August he got road burn, if you work from home a lot you’ll understand road burn, and Jr. decided to not help his coworkers on the two hurricanes last fall.
Jr. chose to run freely on 160 acres with five ponds, in southern Iowa, so after chasing quail and swimming when he felt like it Jr. is ready for the road again ( I think the 25 below wind chill is also a factor) Jr. is a free spirit like the rest of his coworkers and has even been a solo rver. One time his captain left the MH in the cg for Jr. There was enough of Jr.’s coworkers around to help him manage things like the air conditioner, but with the lot rent paid, Jr. soloed for six weeks in the MH .
Jr. is an Austrailian Cattle Dog or Blue Heeler, both of his parents are working canines. If any of you know of a good working female please let Jr. know. Jr. would love to be a proud Poppa. Jr. is very proud he doesn’t like having a coworker following him around the cg carrying a pastic bag. Jr. takes care of business at work. Aso when Jr. has to be leashed he is not pulling some one around the cg like I see a lot of pet owners. So the last I heard Jr. will be in southern Ca. in Jan. if anyone wants to meet him. Book2

Well B2...We will be passing through SO.Ca on our way to Quartzsite in mid-January....but my Shea

is already spoken for - plus she will be bearing us no furbabies - being the responsible pet owner that we are!

I am sure he does a good job hunting all the available females though.

Nice ACD! Thanks for posting the excellent photos of my favorite breed.

Over the years I've been owned by five of them. Great dogs and loyalty is not a question with them. They will die protecting their owners.
