Looking ahead to traveling with my pack
I will be full timing with my menagerie (2 dogs, 4 cats) in about a year. I waffle between Class A and C (I don't need the room, but the babies might?) Any advice on features and accessories I should incorporate into my search to make living with the babies comfortable?

Features/accessories..........Hummmmmmm
What kind of rvng are you planning on doing?
Public CGs, State/National CGs, Boondocking etc
Traveling or parking for extended periods?
MANY public CGs have Pet Limits ---typically 2 max and ALL pets must be on a leash when outside of RV
Traveling with a 'menagerie' can be done but has it's issues

I'll be retiring, so 1 - 2 months/location (no hurry; no worry). I didn't want to specify where I'd be because I knew my options will be limited, and I'm not particular at this time. The cats are strictly indoors, so the only ones going outside are my two pups (leashed).

First off welcome to the forum. You should be fine if the cats are indoors. Many campgrounds will ask for proof or the pets (dogs and cats) having all of their shots (rabies etc) up to date. Some restrict dog sizes and some restrict some thought to be dangerous (not based in reality) breeds like dobies, and rotties.

Welcome to the forum:
Those critters would be happy in a card board box as long as the pack leader is close by. Our two fur babies lie in the hall when momma goes to the bathroom. They won't let her out of their sight.
I have seen a few cats on leashes and they seemed to have a great time.

Mr. D - I have to admit that I keep going back to your picture of the kitties on the dash. It puts a big smile on my face! Thank you for sharing. Where do you normally stay (resorts, parks, etc.) where it's not an issue to have more than 2 pets?
