Miss Millie is 4 1/2 weeks old now! Just started walking the other day, and now she doesn't want to sit still!

We sure know about that. Our four will be 7 wks. old tomorrow and they run and hop everywhere. Sadly, all but one will be going to new homes soon, we are sure going to miss them.

Our two schnauzers know when we are ready to load the Rv and they love to travel. The older one is 14 and still loves to go out for walks.

With the pets along, it feels more like home to us.

Hi All. I've been away from the message boards for awhile because I lost my beloved Sally. I simply couldn't face RVing without her and reading the boards was just too difficult. I'm crying now just remembering. There's no doubt that Sally and I will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. I didn't think I would ever have another dog, but fate had another plan. We found another dog that needed a home and we got her just in time. She's about 7 months old and a very, very mixed breed. Her name is now Rags and I'm sure she will be a really good camper. No matter what, I'll always be

I share your feelings.

It's been over a year for us and it has been very hard to even look at our past vacation and weekend camping pictures because our pets are always with us where ever we go.

We are lucky to have 3 rescued cats and they have helped fill the void of loosing are beloved Ginger.

Pets are great at home or camping

Ah, but you're keepiing one, Bluewind! Our plan was to sell this litter, but with just one, and a tri-color female at that... well, she's staying with us!

Ken, have you got photos of your schnausers? Ron, love the slide show of your cats! Sally's Mom (aka Rags' Mom...), hows Rags doing? Any new photos?

Just got back home and working on new photos. Rags is quite different from what my kids call "the perfect dog"... which means I have to show off my dog training skills.

Rags has been spayed and licensed and it's a good thing. She got away from us and we recovered her in just an hour. I added a charm to her collar with her name and our cell phone number on it in case she decides to to that again!

I'll bet that was stressful! Glad you "retrieved" her relatively quickly... I remember chasing our Lab around the neighborhood for a loooong time one day when she was little and we decided to see how she would do "off lead".

It's a scary thing when our pets decide to wonder on there own

Our latest addition, Blackie, was an inside outside cat, but we have tried to make her an inside cat But just in case she decides to make a leap for freedom, which she has done on occasion, we have had a chip put in her.

She did give us a scare on our last trip to Fort Wilderness. Our future daughter-in-law was loading her things into the MH and forgot to close the door and Blackie made a jump for freedon. This was during after evening hours, and a black cat is hard to see in the dark.

Needless to say we were scared to death because she ran into the bushes and we couldn't see her. Luckily she comes when you whistle so I went over into the bushes and whistled for her and she came

I must be honest... I don't trust Rags not to run! I'm trying to teach her to "wait" until I leave the MH and then she can come out, but only with her leash attached. She is getting better, but I believe we've found a new breed of dog - it's called "BRAT".
She now has a complete name - Raggedy Ann Jones - because as you can plainly see she is an unknown mixture.

Awww not Brat, she's just a puppy.

She looks like a sweet, curious, intelligent little puppy.

Thanks for sharing her picture.

AWWWWWW, what a cutie!

She looks like a Boxer/Beagle mix

And we all know how Beagles love to roam!

Glad you got your "Blackie" back, Ron. I don't let mine out without the leash with the occasional exception of the Choc. Lab, after she's gotten to know the area (we're typically in the middle of nowhere!). Raggedy Ann Jones is Beautiful!!! (Even if a bit, um, mischievious!).

You are right on Joanie. Our vet said she was Boxer with Beagle, maybe some Lab and Pitbull. We rescued her just hours from the executioneer and took her immediately to the vet. She weighed 30 pounds and he said she was about 6 months old (shelter said 3 months). Now she weighs 45 pounds and loves to play. I don't think she is finished growing. We live in a small rural area and the shelter folks said that it took about a month to catch her, which is maybe why she seems to be afraid of the dark. (We don't have street lights, but we do have coyotes.) When the sun goes down she comes in and doesn't use her dog door until the next morning... and, yes, she is very well house trained.
