We've travelled for several years with our three miniature dogs and leave them in the coach often when out and about. If not on full hook ups we run the genny and keep the AC going. We always try to close all blinds so the dogs don't get distracted while we're away an raise a ruckus. Never had any issues.

We often leave our dog in the RV. I have an auto start gen if the temp gets above my setting. But we don't leave him for real long periods. If we are going to be more than 3 - 4 hrs we take him with us or make other arrangements. No problem in the winter, we always have the furnace on as required.

He sleeps or just looks out the window and does not bother anyone and NEVER makes a mess.

I am considering getting an alarm system that sends out messages by cell phone (internet) when preset conditions occur in my RV. I have that in my SB house and it works fine. We even have the capability to look at any camera view and speak to people at the door of our S & B house and property from anywhere. I can look at all camera views with our cell phones, tablets or any PC connected to the internet.

I want this for my RV to keep a better eye on fido for his safety and security and to see what is going on in and around my RV. Who ever said dogs were inexpensive?

Here's a couple of pictures. The first is of our three Japanese Bobtails on I-5 headed back from Seven Feathers. The second is of our newest Japanese Bobtail "Chimi", she's a long hair rather then the standard length ones like the others.
