Has anyone ever taken a pet (small dog) into the Daytona infield RV section? Last year we saw some dogs there, and wondered what the circumstances were. The literature says "no pets" and I wondered if they just look the other way.

Roy, since we are full timers we have taken our Shih Tsu into Daytona and other tracks many times. Just try not to flaunt the fact and you should be fine. The rule is there in case they need it for the larger dogs. Good luck and enjoy the races.

If your dog will allow you to do it, put a cotton ball in each ear during track time. Remember, it is loud to our ears, so it is much louder to them.

One of the biggest controversies in camping is pets, mostly dogs.
No barking rules. But MY dog doesn`t bark that much and he is only being protective.
No aggressive dogs. But MY dog growls and lunges to be playful,he probably won`t bite.
Cleanup. Oh MY dog must have dumped when I wasn`t looking.
The literature says no pets, but of course that doesn`t mean us, does it?
