Question for Boxer Owners

Can anyone tell me how such a large dog (91 lbs) can curl up and take up such little space? This is one on a loveseat and he always leaves room for me.

When such a small dog (45 lbs) takes up so much?

The Bulldog I had to rehome to a family with kids (she loved kids) because she kept attacking the boxer. He'd be sound asleep and the bully would attack for no reason.

So Boxer owners, tell me about your loved one, past and present. And if past, what age did you lose them, Cash will be 9 this February but he started greying out at 4.

I had a 97lbs white boxer. He was the best dog! I lost him suddenly last year. He was only 5. He always could curl into a ball...never figured it out! My lab does the same curls up so there is room for me! Rocky was an amazing boxer! They sure are a great breed!

NY Camper I am so sorry for your loss, I dread the day when I face the same thing. But they are a breed apart, the true clowns of the dog breeds.

I think ours can even spin circles like that when she is excited to see us return. Very funny to watch.

I have a wonderful white boxer named Sarge... and yes... they can curl up into the smallest places.... or.... stretch out to take up most of a king size bed...LOL. I once was told that boxers are like a two year old kid with a pocket full of crack cocaine.... this could also be true. But they are one of the most lovable dog breeds......
