I know your feelings about not traveling with her. I walked my dog probably at least 5 times a day when we were in RV Parks. She loved it. She couldn't wait to go out and enjoy those walks.

Bizzerbiz and WulfHaslett, my heart aches for you, they leave a hole in our hearts when they leave us. I agree about others needing a home....sadly that doesn't seem to ever end.

We just cancelled all our planned camping trips for this year, first for damage to our home during a storm and now even the shorter weekend trips because we have an ailing 13 year old kitty that we hesitate to take too far from our vet.

Certainly appreciate it Lynn. I elected to have hip replacement surgery last October and we all stayed home for the winter. DW had expressed the same concern about traveling with Charlie as you are. We certainly didn't want to be far from home if something were to happen, so the timing was perfect on the hip. We miss our daily routine very much already and do have a cat 'Phoenix" whom we rescued in Phoenix 3 years ago. Charlie was a rescue too. We wish you and your kitty well, Lynn.
