I am so sorry for your loss, she certainly looked like a sweetheart! Tuxedos are such wonderful kitties. I know she is resting comfortably waiting to greet you at the rainbow bridge, Stranger, and that she is watching over you.

We lost our eldest Lab, Rio yesterday. We are all devastated. She slept with my son for 12 years - they grew up thru the teenager years together. He is taking it very hard. Every morning she would come into my office and give me a good morning lick and nuzzle my elbow to have her ears scratched. We have 3 other dogs and love them all but it still doesn't lessen the pain of losing Rio. There was something special about her- maybe because she was our only dog for a long time made us closer to her, I don't know.

All I know is it hurts....

I truly do believe in the Rainbow Bridge and Rio is sitting beside my mom right now, waiting for all us to be reunited in Heaven.

So sorry to hear about Rio. Labs are the best, aren't they? I lost a black one almost 6 years ago, and a golden one about 6 weeks ago. Not sure I will do this again, but if I do, it will be another adult/senior lab.

I know the pain that you must be feeling right now. Think of all the good times, and treasure them always. Rio will always be with you as long as you keep her memories alive.

I am so sorry, Scott and Sherri. Please know that Rio made her final journey home and is watching over you.

Rainbow Bridge...

Thank you.
Still can’t believe it, miss him so much.
Every thing I do I keep looking for him to be there.
He was beside me for most things I did.
We both had each other very well trained. [emoji2]

We lost our beloved Black Lab Charlie on Wednesday. She was a few months over 16 and lodged 40k miles in the RV the last 6 years. She wasn't a enthusiastic traveler in the RV and preferred the back seat of the car. But once she realized she got to ride in the car once we got to our destination, she was delighted. These last few years as Charlie's aging came into place she was very willing to stretch out in the RV rather than jumping in the back seat. 3 years ago I bought a ramp for her but she refused to use it till this year. I guess she didn't want people to think she was old. Anyhow, Charlie will be missed dearly.

We lost our beloved Boxer, Tootsie on July 14th. We miss her dearly. I will miss all our walks in the RV Parks. Won't be the same. So sorry for all the others on this site who have lost their best friends. It leaves a very empty spot in our lives.

Sometimes it's sad to see all these posts....so very sad for those who have lost their buddies.
We're coming up on 1 year for our 17yo Tinkerbelle Shih-Tzu to have had to say goodbye.

For everyone....even though it's very hard to say goodbye....and then the grieving....their are so many out there that need us dearly. Please consider them. We almost said no more after we lost 2 precious pups almost back to back last year....but we wouldn't be without our dear Charley now.

I grieve for you all and our heartfelt condolences.

Thank you, Charlie as well had a very large tumor in her abdomen and several more throughout. It's been a rough few days as you all well know and am thankful to have an outlet here where people understand my grief. It's going to be different not traveling with her.
