Spencer is doing great! He's actually added a few ounces to his body and not quite as bony. I feed him three times a day the canned K/D (Hills) and he is off the antibiotics for about 2 weeks now.

I had the home dental tech lady come and she couldn't do anything for his teeth, the canine lowers are very loose and he wouldn't calm down enough for her to be able to do anything constructive, however, she did say the few molars left are in good shape and to just keep up the 'pulse' antibiotic therapy.

Spencer is doing very well. I am happy to report this news.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Kent, great news. They are resilient and stronger than we think. Izzy had to have the rest of her teeth removed because of decay and infections (previous owner problems) and she came through it in a breeze. First post surgery check up today and the vet was astonished at how well she is doing and how fast she is healing.

Spencer is in the same survivalist class as Izzy so I think we are both on the upswing in the health department. Denise and I are very pleased for you and Spencer.

Update On My Little Boy

Spencer's pictures.....the one of him snoozing with his tongue out is so good.

He's doing well so far. He was chewing on the big mega chew bone his Uncle Greg bought him and that was funny!

Another pic is him chewing on his regular chew stick.

All is well, so far we are off the antibiotic 'pulse' therapy for about 3 weeks now. The longer I can go without him being on antibiotics the better, I feel.

Other than the usual and customary night urinary issues, he's going great.

My sweet little boy....holding his own and we are doing good.

We have a trip to Colorado coming up in a couple of weeks, kinda worried about that and his condition, but all should be ok, I'll keep up his food regimen and have a supply of antibiotics just in case for the trip.

SO happy to hear he is bouncing back. I am as invested in him as I was in Katie Charlotte it seems. He's an old soul, but seems like he may be around for awhile longer yet. You have some beautiful furbabies, and you are a wonderful furdaddy. Love your pics and hearing tales of them all!! Good luck with your upcoming trip!
