Three 'Starving' Kids-NOT :)

A picture of the kids about an hour before dinnertime.

About 3:30, they all start glancing at me if we are watching tv on a weekend.....by 4:00, they all start staring at me......

Mind you, they just ate lunch 3 hours before this picture.

You'd think they were starving to death, but, it was a great chance to get a picture of all three of them looking at me....

Don't they look so put upon?

My beagles "clink" their bowls when they're hungry.

What would we do without them....I would be lost.

But I tell you I just cannot get over losing my Katie. I know I'm a broken record. But I'm lost without her, no matter how much I love and care for these three kids, its just a pale comparison to the years Katie and I had together.....

Yes, and anyone that thinks dogs don't have a 'body clock' or time sense, I don't agree with.

My little Mickie, (Yorkie) every day, front window of the house, every day, 5:00 p.m.: watching out for Dad to drive in. He started barking when he saw my car (his car in the street. By the time I drove around the drive, through the gate and back into the garage, they were all up, barking and ready to see Dad at the back slider window.

BUT: If I went home early, he wasn't watching out the window. If I were late, he wouldn't be there. I'm talking about 10-15 minutes out of the normal window. He knew when it was time for Dad to be home.....

That is wonderful! Such well behaved and mannerly kids!

I love that picture. One of our dogs gets wound up and is underfoot at meal preparation time, the other lays on the sofa where she can supervise the goings on.
They can be sound asleep two rooms away, bring the ham or cheese out of the fridge they are right there before the food hits the counter.

All I have to do is open the dishwasher and one of my beagles comes running looking for some leftover.
