I posted about our cat Sox and his death, well we are here in Waveland MS doing some Katrina volunteer work and decided to rescue a kitten. We found a nice 8 week old gray and white. The bad part is that we could only take 1. The shelter is full of cute kittens, cats, dogs and puppies, when we questioned the attendant he told us that when the facility gets full they put some of the animals down. He also said people are dropping pets off daily and few are placed. If you're down this way stop in pick up a new friend. BTW there was a really nice purebred wiemeraner looking for a home.
