Who bought RV for their Pets?
I am curious, guessing we can't be the only crazy pet RV people. After years of not being able to go on holiday together (couldn't leave dogs) we decided we needed to fix this. So we purchased an RV, and now take our two dogs and cat with us. Of course, we love RVing, but the true catalyst for the RV purchase was the dogs (cat came after). Anyone else? Or are we just nuts?

We've been known to call the MH the Cat House. She goes everywhere in it. We have S&B in WA & TX so the MH is Tink's. The DW doesn't want to put her in Motels that are full of strange odors and noises, so Tink has been traveling in class since 8 wks old, to now almost 13 yrs.
They do get spoiled!

When I retired, I told my wife we should travel. She said we would have to take the dogs, so we bought them an RV.

The end result is the same
I bought an RV mostly for my wife who has dogs and goes to dog shows. First had a Class C then upgraded to the current Class A both were dog friendly in that she could have multiple crates.

Yep, we bought our RV so we could take the entire family with us everywhere. Two cats and a 2 year old pup. Our cats have been in 40 of the lower 48 states, and our 2 year old Labradoodle has pooped & peed in 11 states and 4 Canadian Providences before he had his 6 month vet checkup! Our vet said "I can learn to eat dog food, can I come along?"

Who bought RV for their Pets?
We did. Our Shih Tzu ( see my avatar )traveled with us for 93,000 miles to all 49 States ( almost twice ) and 10 Canadian Provinces and the Yukon Territory . He peed and pooped in all of them [emoji106]

I thought we were the only ones. The major reason we bought our specific floor plan was to ensure we had sufficient room for our 2 Australian Cattle Dogs to stretch out without us tripping over them.

We bought our RV for pets...sort of...perhaps it’s more accurate to say that I used the idea of taking our cats as a reason for getting the bigger RV.
Regardless, the cats were happy, my spouse is happy, and I’m happily driving a DP.
Of course it’s possible my spouse used the bigger RV as a pretext for bringing the cats?
Or maybe, the cats manipulated both of us?
Who knows? It’s been a win win for all parties.

Add us to the list of Dog Show people that got a class A for the dogs. We do also take a few camping trips with our dogs. We named the RV Chenil that is French for "kennel".

We bought our RV to travel with our dogs. One time at a rest/pee stop when the three dogs came rumbling, stumbling out of the RV we got some laughs and some snide comments. agreed with the laughs and ignored the snide remarks. Our three dogs love to travel. they like to smell all the strange smells in the lower 48. Yes, they have been to almost all. We have a Husky mix, Springer Spaniel, and a Jack Russel Terror. we also had another well traveled springer but had to put her down due to cancer.

Bought a 17' Type B MH to replace a TT. It was great for just the two of us and short trips. Then we got a dog, a ShiTzu, a little crowded. Then we got another, but just a Maltese though but couldn't all fit on the couch/bed. Upgraded to a Type C MH.
Now I travel in a 45' quad slide MH and this is what I get now.

I grew up with pets.......dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pig etc
Never have purchased any vehicle or RV 'for' a pet.
Have purchased quite a few and dog got to go along
Animals adapt to what they are afforded
Vehicles/RVs were purchased with OUR needs in mind. (the Human not the pet)
