Chance eats it because it gives him an excuse to puke on our carpet.

I sorta figured they eat grass because there's no mailman handy...
My theory looks about as good as the ones in the article...

I had always heard that they would eat it when they felt sick, but Benji will eat it every time I cut grass. Wayne, thanks for the link. Very good article and good reading.

I did read the article and I still think he pukes on the carpet for spite. He could just a well puke on the tile but no it's always on the carpet.

I posted the link because when I read it out loud to Earlene we laughed and laughed at the humorous way that it is written. I hope that every one else sees the funny in it, (“Do you like the taste?” and “If it tastes so good, why do you throw it up?”) besides the information.
Enjoy.

I hate to bring this up but when I went to the link I got a virus infected warning. My security is pretty good so be careful.

I use Norton Internet Security and I have had no problem with opening the site several times and I notice no unusual activity monitoring my computer.
It seems you may be using Kapersky. Others using that product have indicated a problem with the site. I also did a Google search on the complete link and there are numerous web sites that have that specific link on their web. I would be unusual for that many sites to link a virus infested link. But it pays to be safe.
Edited: There is no reason to be sorry for posting about a potential virus. We all have to be on the alert, and we have to trust "our" virus programs no mater what they are. Having worked, and retired from, NASA in Computer Security (IT Security) I am ever vigilant regarding computer security. Although I have been lax in my social engineering skills since I retired. All of us should report suspected virus problems, then it is up to the individual to determine if they wish to load a program or not.
Sometimes I live on the edge.

My dog, Abbey Schnauzer, eats a well-balanced diet of veggies and beef. She wasn't sure about the veggies at first but chows down on them now. She can't tolerate most grains, including rice, so it's a good thing. She loves grass and never vomits it back up or retches.

May I ask what anti-virus programs you are running?
Thanks.

I only wish that our new Schnauzer puppy "Sophie" would eat just grass. Instead its sticks, leaves, turtle poop, cat poop, and any other thing that just happens to present itself. And oh yea she loves to kiss after eating.
