Almost ready to go..

and I am going to be using my 94 Mazda B3000 Cabplus to camp in. This is what I can afford to do on my SS Retirement which is 800 per month. Any info from others that are on tight budgets, I would love to talk with especially.

I am in line (on a list for housing in a beautiful place called Lakeport CA, but I have possibly a year to wait. I am building a website for seniors fitness and nutrition, which may or may not generate extra income. Along the way, if I find odd jobs like a house to clean, anything light as I have some nerve damage in my left hand. My right has healed since I have stopped doing harder labor.

I am 62, and very excited about venturing out. I had a picture of a converted Ranger and it is just like my mazda. It was cute and very comfy. I am looking for direction by googling, then I'll but the wood and have a friend put together the wood frame for me

I plan to leave within the month, from Coos Bay OR, then head South to Lakeport CA for a quick visit. I believe my camping will have to be limited to the coast (Pacific) due to heat further South.

I want to join a camp association of some sort if you can get discounts on camping. I will have a small dog, 10 lbs or less

Would love to hear from other independent folks Denise

Denise...good luck with your RV plans. I hope all goes as you would like. If you look around you may find a campground that is looking for a host. You can usually get a good deal on your costs by doing this.

Best of luck and Happy Trails!!
