I've been baby sitting all week at terrible hours... Had to be at my daughter-in-laws at 3:30 AM every day so I've been a total zombie!

But thats over I hope.. now back to normal.. if there is such a thing.

OK folks - throw wet noodles at me. I was on the road the night of the 9th, dry camping at Wal-Mart with no wifi around, even if I could have gotten on Wi-Fi. I'm going to see if I can draft Route 66 to attempt moderating this Thursday night. If so, he'll post to that topic. If not, it will be whenever I can get my blasted computer up and on wifi again. This is a big city, I left my Garmin in Denver (my son is sending it to me . . . ) and I am LOST without my computer!!!!

Check here to see if Dick can moderate the chat . . . if not, I'll be back in the saddle soon and we shall continue on.

Actually, any two or more members who log into the Chat Room at the specified time can have the chat, it isn't a requisite to have a moderator. The function of the moderator is to greet arrivals to the chat, keep the conversation on topic if such a topic is desired. Also, the moderator would step in if anyone were to get out of line but that sort of stuff is virtually non-existent in any of our Chat Rooms.

If any one of you who post here in the Solo RV'ers Forum would like to act as a moderator pro-tem for tomorrow's chat session on GraciesMom's behalf, just sign in and announce your desire to the others and function accordingly.

The room will be available after 7:45 PM EDT Thursday, and the designated chat time is 9:00 pm Eastern, 8:00 PM Central..

Hi All,

I got off to a late start, I did not get into the chat room untill 9:50PM EST!I stayed there till 10:15PM EST, No one else came in so I left, wow I was even Solo in the Solo RV Chat,LOL!!

Well, that stinks Al...sorry...alone in a chatroom is a sad place. I went at perhaps 10 to 8 EST but was not allowed in as I was early and then had clients until 6:30 PST (my time).

I keep remembering but life interferes with my ability to attend...

I got back in time to get in.

I was in from about 8:55 to 9:20 EST.

I was the only one there, except for Ken TX, who popped in but I missed him and he didn't stay long.

At the minimum, we now know the Solo RV'rs Chat Room works. Maybe with a little promotion and some hoop-ala by the solo members it'll have more participants next week?

Would changing to a different time or day or an expansion of the current time window help?

Heck I never know what day it is.. Next week I'll be in the new house but I don't know if the internet will be hooked up or not. They didn't show a house at the address we gave them.. Duh... of course not.. it was just built!! Oh!.. and my MH will have to be in a new spot too.. but I don't even know where yet

Well atleast Hitchhiker is right we now know it is up & working !! I have a meeting this thur, and will be camping the week after that, but I will try and get back in there soon!!
