Hey out there! Hope everyone is managing to stay relatively cool in this heat wave!
Here's an idea - how would everyone like to meet once a week for an online chat? If you're interested, please post indicating your interest and the days/times you think would be most convenient. We'll look over the suggestions and pick a time and give this a whirl! Thanks and I'm looking forward to chatting with you!!

I go to a Women only RV chat but I am open to another one. Any day is OK for me but I am on PST so no earlier than 5 pm (8EST) is best for me.

OK - I'm going to try this again. 8 p.m. CST Single RV'ers chat on Thursdays. I may be the only one there, but ya gotta start somewhere.

Thanks to those of you who tried to attend the chat tonight. For some reason, we didn't get a room set up for us. I went to IRV2 chat and thought maybe you guys would join there - I should have posted that I was going there. That was a fun chat and I met a lot of new people.
My apologies. Maybe we can get a room of our own and try again next week?

GM,
I had all intensions of trying out this chat idea but other issues got the better of me. Probably just as well because I have never done the "chat" thing before. Do you need special software? I'm on a satelite connection which has a lot of "lag" in it. Will that affect the ability of my computer to work? I am also a one finger typer. That will slow me down also.

ecarbone, we all started that way....If you need software the 'puter will cue you and download it for you. It is also amazing how quickly one can learn to type with just one finger!!
I am up for another try but could there be a direct link posted here for us? The time was great and I did come but then got 'lost' LOL...

Thursday... uhh.. thats 4 more days and at 8 central so 6 for me. Guess I shouldn't have thrown away my calendar and watch.

OK. I likely will not be there as I usually work until 5 (PST) so 8:00 CST as GM originally planned was better for me. Will try to catch you all sometime another week or maybe I will try to get there later.
