Good morning, I have been travelling Solo for while now. At first it was a little hard especaily when you round a corner and there it is, the WOW factor and no one to share it with. I didn't feel like dealing with anything after my wife of 36 years passed but thanks to very good friends, Rver's and my new Motorhome here I am out playing. Life is Good again!! I left home at the end of August went back for a couple of weeks and took off again. This lifestyle is great, Rver's are a very friendly group of people that make one feel right at home where ever you may be. I have been in Vegas for 2 months now but I will be going to Palm Springs Sunday for the warmer weather. I am full timing it now, I have sold the house and 2 cars, stored a few things but not many. I have everything I need in my Motorhome. I think 12 months of summer it the way to go. I really want to thank everyone for taking the time to say hi and showing me there is so much more to life.

Rygal. Not only will I gave a drink for you, but I would be willing to have a drink of rye for an forum member that requires my services. I offer this service at no charge. I realize that this is a real sacrifice that I am offering to my fellow members. I just feel it is something that I owe to you all for being such a great source of information and entertainment. LOL LOL
PS/ If anybody wants to help with my sacrifice, I drink Crown Royal and I will share.
Hope your feeling better!

Today? Shoveling. We got 10" of snow last night.
And listening to my pigeon happily singing and cooing while he tows a paper napkin across the floor. He's a former wild pigeon, was rescued last year - found him laying in the middle of the road almost dead, brought him in, didn't expect him to make it through the night, he was all limp, couldn't move, and wicked skinny, he looked like he hadn't eaten in days. Now he's a fat, plump, healthy pigeon getting into everything, but can't be released back into the wild due to he can not fly. But anyways, even though he's got a nice big plate of bird food (which he loves) he still prefers to hop into a trash bag, tear the sides open and pull out wrappers and cans to pick for scraps. I guess that's how he hunted for food his entire life, so that's why he running across the room carrying a paper napkin in his beak.
College is closed due to weather, so no classes today.

aki good point about knowing what doesn't work LOL welcome
I'm feeling better and have had 3 days of retirement Now I have another problem I can't figure out what day it is but if I don't have to work it doesn't make any differance. I probally won't travel sept, as I want to spend most of the summer up at Mineral lake ,wa. near Mt. Rainer good fishing and nice people. then in sept to devils tower and down to new mexico for the balloon festival. so where are all of you going? Hey is the chat room still open and when??

The solos chat room was supposed to be on Monday night but we never did have more than a couple of people at a time. Finally we started joining the "irv2 Chatters" group. I check in there most nights but they close up shop too early for me. By the time I get on there they have gone to bed. If you check in about 6:00 or 7:00 pm EST they should be there.
