Well, I guess I am hitched. She has put up with me for 39 years now...I could never survive retraining, so I'll stay hitched.

GraciesMom,
I'll be posting a funny story next week about arguing inside a motorhome with your spouse.
After reading it, you may want to stay single!

Hard to argue and stay mad in a MH. We have only one bed and the ceramic tile floor is too hard for me to sleep on.

Don't worry Sacs...I would rather have you "in" and curled up next to you...although I am curious to read RVThere's tale....

and GM/mod, can you elaborate on ditching old (decayed) decals and replacing or repairing them (damaged by heat)...? Or can anyone else? I do not want to go to more remote sub-categories.....if I can help it. This whole thing is big enough...

PS My MH is finally Cdn today!! Passed some kind of citizenship hurdle. I feel I should get 'her' a passport now LOL!! It took 6 weeks and 5 steps!! Maybe a bribe would have been simpler ROFLOL.

IslandMomma - go here:
Sprucing up the outside of the RV
That's where I posted some photos of removing the decals, as well as what I'm doing to replace them and what I'm using. If you have any questions, PM me. I'm woefully behind on working on it - it's been a week since I had that giant skin cancer removed on my left arm and it hurts so darned much I'm not willing to do any work with it right now!! (Wimpy me . . . )
Congrats on your motorhome graduating! LOL!
And here's the link to the tile discussion:
carpet replacement

Thank you so much for the info. It looks really helpful but likely confirms that it is a bigger task than I want to undertake right now.... Will watch your progress...
I just need two or three of the lighter pink Winnebago stripes replaced. The others (maroon and turquoise)are in fair shape. I wonder if this is a way to order from Winnebago and do it more piecemeal. Will keep you posted once I get started, likely en route in January.
Thanks again!

Your rig is a '96, right? Is it not yellowed? If your not concerned with, or don't have yellowing, you can order those pink stripes from Winnebago or just measure them and order them from the place I indicated above. The stripes come off EASY compared to the decals.
And yes - it is a big job - especially for someone that's terrified of HEIGHTS!!
