I guess all the Solo RVrs have shut down for the holidays. No posters lately. If I could think of an interesting thread - I would post it.
Come on Guys 'n Gals, I depend on you to keep my life interesting. Post, Post, Post!
If someone will post, I promise to reply.

Had a great Christmas. Was in McKinney Falls State Park for several days during the Christmas holiday visiting my son in Austin, Tx. Left on Saturday after Christmas and went to the cabin-on-the-lake at Grapeland, Tx. Will stay here until Wed or Thurs and then return to Spring.
Having a good holiday season and looking forward to a great '10.

Stay warm.

Bill

I'm just wishing I was in the southwest instead of the south east! Holy smokes, it's been cold here. Today was much better and I was able to get outside to some maintenance things, but will be curled up with my book and the ceramic heater again tonight!
I spent the holidays alone for the first time ever this year. It was weird, but not horrible. Does anyone else? And what do you do to make it special?

I don't know how to make the holidays special when traveling, but I think it is a great question, one which might benefit from its own new topic thread. I'm hoping others might respond with some good ideas. And what about WHERE to spend Xmas in an RV? They really light it up in Mexico.... Where else? Anyone have good experiences they want to share?

I was suppose to spend the holidays with my 15 yr old son. My Ex had other ideas. So spent the Holidays with good freinds near the stick house. had a good time there.

Down here in Florida we decorated our rigs moderately. Then some good soul decided to organize a dinner for those that did not have any particular plans. It turned out just great. Met new folks, realized I wasn't the only one alone on Christmas day. It was a really great get together. Never felt more at home.

they don't have to be long or exciting post. when I come home from work and check the thread I love to see a new post. maybe it a favorite resturant , or a good book you are reading. who knows your post could brighten anothers day. I love this place Do any of you go in the chat room? I have not been there yet but when I was on another thread they had a singles chat room and it was nice but really it doesn't make any differance if your status its just comication with others.

I am on the road from Florida to Ohio. So far it has been a beautiful trip. Flowers blooming all through north Florida, and middle Georgia. Dogwood, fruit trees, Bradford pears, grass is green, weather is great. I hope this holds up until I get to the Buckeye State. Traffic has been moderate, so far no accidents to hold up traffic. Having said this traffic is stalled down to a crawl from 36 miles south of Atlanta all the way through Atlanta. That seems to be the norm for the late afternoon, early evening. Life is good, set back and let your Ford V-10 take care of the work. Tomorrow is history, there is only today, tomorrow may never come. Enjoy!

still learning, as for going thru Atlanta, there always seems to be a accident to slow you down, take time and fix a snack and remember life is to important to rush thru
