I just finished my first boondocking trip to Quartzite. I came in from Parker and first toured the BLM area north of town there... at highway 72.
As I was tooling around I saw the LOW signs and putted in looking around and to see if I knew anyone (I have a good friend that belongs to that group I think). How many of you were there friday and saturday?
Anyway I ended up at Dome rock. What a great place to camp.
For me the Quartzite town experience was a social eyeopener. The colors and the dusty vendors. Jamaica meets the Great Unwashed at the swap meet.
Took some pics

Wow - those are great photos. You definitely captured the craziness of the place . . . .!!! Tell me about your website. I definitely need to get one set up. I'm running out of storage space and I'd like to be able to share my photos.

Thanks for the complements
pbase.com is not my website.
It was started by a group of photographers years ago before the likes of flicr and all came about. It has some nice features. The user interface is old-school but there are some very famous photogs who have their galleries there. It also incorporates CSS code (style sheets).
The forums are good for "professional" input. It costs something per year... $25 or so... I don't remember.
