I spent most of the morning on this site.
I am retired USN, Civil Service.
Always planned to head in to the Sunset but never seem to get it done.
Plan was that when we both retired we would rv fulltime. But as soon as we retired I started a Lawn care busness and it got out of control. That took care of the rving for the time. Now that I lost my co pilot and have wasted 5 years trying to figure out what to do. I know, Rv'ing is it.
Have ordered a 17' Casita and will be picking it up in Rice Tx. on July 22.
Not full time yet but maby soon.
I just stumbled onto this fourm and it is great.

Ralf

Welcome to the site. I'm retired USMC and work as a Navy contractor now with several Ret Sailors. You will find a bunch of retirees, and great people who have not served here. All are willing to help in areas of expertise with awesome advice. Post often of your travels, and try going to the "Off Topic Thread" for some funny stories. Kenyonman

Welcome and howdy Ralf. You will find some real fine people on this forum. Will be interested in your comments on your new Casita, once you have done your shake down. I lost my long time co-pilot to and know your pain.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about your loss. This is a great place. I lost my wife last year and turned to RVing. Have met many wonderful people at the various rallies. My Casita has been wonderful. You might want to visit casitaclub.com to meet other owners and learn about your new Casita.

I am retired army and stay at many military rv parks.

Where do you call home?
