I like back roads, and dirt roads. Boondocking. I'm female and 60 in great health but don't want to get myself stuck with too big a camper in the wrong place.

Advice?

Two weeks left!!!

Yes! I'll be hitting the road in 2 weeks from today. Leaving icy cold Ontario and heading way down south. I'll de-winterize in North Carolina then continue south. Can't wait!

Frank 716. Sounds like a great trip. Be sure to check out the fingerlakesdailynews.com area, especially wine country along Keuka and Seneca lakes. Beautiful country. And so much to see and do whether one enjoys wine or not. Safe travels!

Good morning from upstate NY where it is a balmy 14 degrees. I will be embarking soon (hopefully in the next few months) in full timing. I will have the opportunity to try it out for awhile before selling my house. My plan is to rent a seasonal site locally with a few short trips in the area until fall. I am divorced (7 years now), retired, and looking forward to a new adventure. I have camped since a young child and have owned many different types of campers. I currently have a Jayco 5th wheel but once Im sure that this is the route I want to go will possibly consider a motorhome of some type. I spent a few months in Florida last winter and enjoyed it. I have been reading the forum for a few months now and have learned sooooo much. Now happy to be a member! 😊
