Hi All,

Hey CorsairIIAT,

Thank You, glad to know he does others good also!!

Hey Homer,

I agree 1000000000000000% with you about dinning out alone is a bummer! Also when you see something wonderfull and there is no one to share it with, is also not much fun!!

Noticed that Texas is not highlighted on your map. Come on over to Texas and see what fun we have Solo RVing

The Texas thing is getting very interesting. I have a lot of immediate family in Texas and I have not been there myself since 1952, except to fly over it or change planes in Dallas. I wonder where the single people go in Florida, if in fact they come here. They sure are not in this resort.

Some of my friends go to Florida for the winter. Bushnell? I think they are mostly Escapees.
1952? OMG I was in high school then. Don't try Houston without guidance. lol Really think about coming to Texas and see what fun we have. There are a lot of singles not necessarily looking to become a couple but just having fun,

MB: I had just graduated from high school and joined the Air Force and was sent to San Antonio for basic training. Been around the world since then.

Bushnell is a nice part of Florida, but way to cold for me in the winter.

Al, I have a son 5 years older than you, I guess every solo isn't a widow or widower and that is a good thing. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.

Ok Al You and I are the same age. I don't think of myself as a youngster either. All my coworkers are between 25-35. But I do keep up with them.

Hi All,

Hey Homer,
Yep your right all of the solo Rvers are not widow's or widowers, but trust me it can be tuff finding retired folks my age to hang out with!!

Hey CorsairIIAT,
You know what they say 50 is the new 40, so enjoy, besides it is not to bad being around a bunch of 25-35 year olds!! However I am not about to get a job to do it,LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maggieboomer -

I'm in LA for Mardi Gras as well and so looking forward to going into New Orleans for parades! This part of the country has great character - I love to visit! And, oh my, are they all "who dat" crazy right now! I'm no football fan, but I am rooting for the Saints!

Al and CorsairIIAT - I'm around the same age as you guys - and it is tuff finding folks our age to hang out with. I've actually had some people express resentment that I could be out here full-timing at my age when they "worked hard all our lives to get here." I don't tell them how I got here, I just comment how very fortunate I am to be here and how much I'm enjoying it! Maybe we'll end up in the same place some day and start a "young-ish, solo RVrs group!" Just kidding! But it would be nice to run into each other now and then.
