$2000.00 to $3000.00 per month is all it takes to full time with out skimping too much. If you are a frugal cheapskate you can do it on much less.

If you have a home, apt, etc dump it and live full time in the MH then travel where you want. Boondocking or dry camping a lot helps with the budget tremendously.

You can do it on what you have if you economize somewhat.

For that kind of money I could be living high on the hog.

Plans, like life, do change. Make plans, realize that nothing is written in stone and seldom is there a clearcut right and wrong way to move forward... but move forward and do one new, fun thing after another, string successes together and toss aside the failures.

Life without love is shallow at it's very best and damned miserable most of the time. A wedding ring is not a requirement but fidelity is something all humans desire in a mate, so love only one and be honest with him/her. Words can hurt, they can kill, or they can enrich and they can heal... choose them wisely !

Even if you cannot find yourself living with another human do not overlook a dog. They give love unconditionally, you can share your food with them, they love to go for walks and seldom disagree with your opinion, no matter how offbase it is. They are awesome listeners, seldom talk back, wont ask to borrow your truck, seldom wear or need clothes, and do not drink much beer when it is in short supply. lol

Enjoy what you have without coviting what others have, watch and learn from those around you, and ask for help when and only when you truly need it. Be handy with whatever talents you have and give freely of your time and skills, it will be repaid with serious interest.

Best of luck and remember to move forward.

MegaRoadie: Excellent post and philosophy. Don't know what you do/did for a living, but you have life scoped out. Keep on keeping on.

Just remember if you think you can't ---you probably can't. This philosophy works better in reverse.

Sorry to hear of your situation, but as said before...where there is a will there is a way! My wife and I have actually been able to save more money now that we fulltime than we ever did living in a S&B house and working 9-5.
