Hey Mke,

There are a few of us out here going it alone! Some by the choice of others and some by there own choice! However the important thing is that life is for living, and not just watching! So I say go traveling and have fun!

Mike - you keep right on going. A lot of folks I've met out on the road are alone not by choice, but because of death or divorce. Their partners loved RVing and I'm sure they would have wanted them to continue RVing and to even meet someone that loved RVing as much as they did to travel with. It's great that you are out here doing what you love and moving on with your life. Hang in there and KEEP ON GOING!! I'm sure you know there are dozens of social networks for solo RV'ers . . . jump in, get your feet wet, and enjoy your life!! We're happy that you posted on RV Solo's - please come back and post often!

I'm in the 51-60 group now. Two weeks ago I could have checked the 41-50.

There is longevity in my family. I hope I have at least 15 more years to wander aimlessly throughout this great country of ours. I am now a 70 year old seasoned citizen.

My wife passed away in July and I will continue our dream. At my sisters in Alabama for the winter. Who knows where I will end up. Going to try to see more of our wonderful country while I still can. Retired and loving it. Ed

I tried the solo bit after my navigator passed away. I just could not enjoy the loneliness after a couple of days on the road. So now my RV just sits in a building, until I attain an attitude adjustment.

Hey Izzyblueye,

Sorry for your lose, but rather then the RV sitting in a building, how about you & the RV sit in a campground togeather for a month or more !! If you stay in one place for more the a few days you will be surprizzed how many friends you make!!! This is my 4th winter in the same campground and each time I return it feels more and more like home!!! Best of luck to you with what ever you do, but hope you can get back into & enjoy RVing again !!
