I can speak from personal experience now, concerning LoW. I've been at the Low-Hi ranch in Deming for almost a week and I can't remember when I've laughed so much. For the most part, the members here are warm, welcoming and FUN LOVING. Happy Hour every day at 4, dancing on Friday nights, lunch out twice a week - on Tuesdays it's to Palomas, Mexico at the Pink Store where you eat, drink, drink and dance . . . and drink some more if you can handle it (I can't!) Potluck dinners, fellowship, friendship and some of the youngest seniors I've ever met in my life. Their joy for living and for this life style is infectious. I've also learned about two other groups - WIN and Escapees SOLO's that I plan to check out. There is an Escapee campground here and I'll be camping around all of these groups when I get to Quartzite and take a visit to The Slabs in December/January. If you are a solo RV'er that is looking for companionship as a single person with a group of caring, fun individuals, I'd highly recommend LoW. Two of the members here that had suffered from long illnesses passed away today. Members gathered at one of their rigs with their family members to remember them and recount tales of their adventures . . . it was amusing, touching and so much like a huge extended family, it brought tears to my eyes.
