Is there really a thread that is for singles living the rv life style? I love rving, but am having a hard time finding a partner to share it with. All of the populor sites are for women only or older seniors. Is there a site that I am missing that is for a young 60?

We have a Solo RV'ers Forum in our RV Lifestyles Section, but it is not used as "dating service" so to speak, but as a forum for discussing issues that may be unique to singles.

Hi fatmanobx,
In addition to what Dirk suggested, there is also http://www.lonersonwheels.com/ . This is a RV club for singles.

I guess I didn't word it right. I'm not looking for a date, but others who are single living the lifestyle. When I camp with my friends I feel like a 3rd wheel sometimes and don't like to intrude on anyone.

I understand completely as I'm a single fulltimer.
I've moved this thread to the Solo forum and some of the solo RVers may reply.

Know exactly how you feel. It is a problem, and the answer is not easy. We are spread so thinly over the country that ordinary single person camping friendships are difficult to establish. The last thing I want is sympathy from my married friends.

Maybe with women it is different or else I have just had a different experience. I went to my first FMCA function and met another single female and we did things together. Last week at a Good Sam Club Samboree a single female ended up parked two rigs away from me and we got together with another single female friend who was there, to go out to eat dinner together. I guess there are always single females around. Single males seem to be different, as not as many of them seem to go with the groups.

Normally I agree with you Homer...
but if the sympathy includes a free home cooked meal...
I can handle it

Ken, you are "unique", not weird. I'm sure Susan appreciates your special qualities - she is still hanging in there with you.
