Sounds great. Safe travels.

Ga Peach. I live in Birmingham, Al and share your interest in traveling with others each with our own Rvs. This mode of travel has many benefits and few if any drawbacks. Let me know if you find a local group to travel with and I will gladly join you all in new travel adventures.

The DOG suggestion is a good one but......

You really need someone who can respond should "Stuff" happen..
(Deal with medical issues).

As it happens I am looking for a traveling companion,, or will be once I get this motor home back to being a motor home. I need someone who can either Drive should I become disabled or at the very least call 9-1-1 and get me help. Since I too am "Mid 60s) the odds of needing able help increase with age. The last time I needed help I was able to get me to hospital with time to spare.. but who knows the next.

Oh, just now I travel with two cats..Alex is very friendly.

Hello, GA Peach,

I am a P/Ter and live full time in NM. I'm 66 and widowed but still enjoy traveling in my RV with my pooch-boy. I agree that having my privacy is necessary but enjoy having company when touring an area. I belong to several single groups and have been with them for a few outings. If you'd like to chat, I'm here. Perhaps we can meet along the way sometime.
