Unable to get into the Chat feature!

I am so frustrated! I cannot get into the chat room.  I get a message saying I need a Java update but when I click on it all I get is a noise and nothing happens. I will keep on trying. I have my new laptop all packed up ready to go on a trip but I guess the only way to get in the chat room is to go downstairs and unpack it and try again.

Every year I do up about a gallon of Marm olaide and a gallon of Wild Black berry jam. And I only keep a pint or two for Nikolas and myself. I give most of it away to Family and friends.
