Hi All,
Well if I am lucky and find a campground with a hot tub or heated pool! After a nice long relaxing soak, I sit out in my chair with my mp3 player, my pipe or cigar and some JD on the rocks, or wine or maybe a Margarita and enjoy! Will also go for a walk and talk with other Rvers about where they are headed or have been!! Nice to hear a voice other then your own,LOL!!!

Now if you want to set down wind and chat a spell, Ill certainly work with you on getting the Dickel to come out right with the ice cube. I solved the problem and either drink it neat of add some more Dickel until it is even.
Enjoy the good life.

I normally don't camp by myself. But this last Labor Day I had the Friday off before it. So I went up to the Forest service campground Thursday afternoon. Got all set up and sipped Canadian wihskey by the fire that night. Next morning while waiting for friends to come in that evening. I found a wild blackberry patch. I spent Friday picking 2 gallons of them. Of course my arms looked like I did a round with a hundred ferel cats.

It was worth it. I used half of them and made Blackberry jam. Friends I camped with loved that. Used some for crushing and having over Ice Cream. 15 yr old son loved that. Still have about 3 qts in the freezer.
Also I can relate to having a cat like that. Last wife had 3. Only one of them really liked me.

You guys are tooooo funny. I like this forum.
What I do when I'm alone depends entirely on how motivated I am. I'm always alone, so it covers the gambit from reading, sightseeing, taking walks, to enjoying a steak, salad, and red wine, as is the plan for tonight. I love it when all the stars are aligned and I can just relish the life. It is good.

It's nice to hear from you, one who spends so much time alone. Although I enjoy company and consider myself reasonably social, I spend most of my time entertaining myself, writing and painting and plenty of fly-fishing the western states. Enjoying a steak, salad and red wine? It sounds to me like your planets are pretty well lined up all the time. Like the bumper sticker says, "Enjoy your life every day -- If you don't who will?"
