Not alone very often but when it happens, I like to read a book, sip on a cold one and listen to satellite radio. There is nothing bad about being alone once in awhile.

Want to impress/distract your friends? Push a small copper wire into your cigar and you'll have a very long ash...

Never truely alone. Have the kids and DW. But sometimes they go to bed early and I will sit by the fire with my favorite beverage (quite smoking 5 years ago) and put another log on the fire and just relax. Think of fun times, family (here and gone), what I want to do tomorrow, looking at the stars. Reflect on life and how amazing kids are.
For far too many years life passed me by and I was consumed by work and other activities. Now I enjoy sitting and relaxing and trying to not think too much.

I got Rosetta Stone and I'm learning Mandarin. I want to be able to order in a Chinese restaurant. I'll get there but its going to take awhile.

Read and write to this site can take up a lot of time, if I let that happen. Give me a dirty martini please, coming right up, how was the martini, just fine thank you, you're welcome, come here often, as often as I can...see I can be very entertaining when alone.
