Anyone use a hot air fryer on the road?

I love my French fries and other fried foods. I am still gearing up for fulltime rv'ing in the very near future. I am retired and single and I do cook! I recently got an Instant Pot, with an eye on cooking on the road, and have ocome to like it a lot!

I'm looking at a hot air fryer (oilless), for use now and on the road. It seems easier than trying to use a traditional deep fryer - especially when I do get out! Anyone have/use one traveling? Does it work for you?

I currently live in a small studio apartment (I call it RV boot camp Lol) so I need to be mindful of space!

Yes, I have one of the no name import air fryers in my coach, it works out, but not as good as larger Cuisinart air fryer / toaster oven / convection oven we have at home

Ninja makes an air fryer/instapot combo unit that is supposed to be quite good. One unit for two functions.

Check it out.

Amazon has that ninja pot. Its a bit spendy - have to think on that. But thanks for the info - is a cool idea.

We use this:

Works well for us. The fact that it rotates is nice too.

Its funny how I brought this up now. Walmart announced their "black Friday " specials - a hot air fryer will be like $30!

At that price, I can't go wrong

We have a little one we keep in the trailer, and a bigger one in the house. Only thing I don't like about the trailer one is the small size, but space is limited. They tend to blow out a lot of heat which is bad in the summer if you're running the ac, but a plus in the shoulder seasons or when winter camping. Really good for grilled fish fillets, porkchops, and some all so fantastic hot wings.

We use a small one.

Its fine for half a dozen chicken wings or a portion of french fries.

It does the job.

Do we have one? No. We've thought about it but space is limited enough as it is. A bit of oil in a frying pan over the gas stove is how we make fries on the road.

Use one at and like it. Bought the same model for the RV and use it on every trip.
