10 medium sea clams, Raw cleaned
3 strips bacon
2/3 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp fresh thyme chopped
pinch garlic powder
1 cup cracker crumbs
1 frozen pastry
1/2 pint cream (if too dry add more)
1/3 can cream of celery soup (NO MORE)
Chop or grind the clams. fry bacon till done remove and eat bacon. fry onion lightly in bacon grease . Add clams and cook a few minutes, till the clams shrink a little. Remove from fire , add salt and pepper and cream and cream of celery soup then add crumbs. Line a pie plate with pastry and put in the clam filling. Dot with butter (lots) and put on top crust. Brush with milk and bake at 425 for 30 min. You can substitute shredded potatos for crackers
