Is there any problem with using the microwave for cooking a meal (lasagne) while driving. I understand that there could be a problem if you stop quickly or need to make a sharp turn, but.....
Thanks.

No we do it all the time, for popcorn. Have to be sure whatever you cook is totally contained, or else you could end up with a real mess. And obviously you will need to run the generator

Know many who do and enjoy the experience. Advice above is mandatory.
We, however, do not cook and drive at the same time. That is what we use the rest stops for.

Never used the micro while driving, but I frequently put the crockpot in the sink and cook dinner while we are travelling.

You could wrap your lasagne in aluminum foil and place on engine block.
1-1/2 inch thick slice placed on block and driven 98 miles in 80 degree weather should do it nicely.

WOW!
I have a popup, and I am browsing and dreaming.
I can't wait until we realize our dream of retirement and Full timing in a Motor home so I can cook me some popcorn and frozen pizza while going down the road. What a life!

Even better is the smell of freshly brewing coffee at 60MPH while snow or rain is beating against the windshield. :-)

We do not yet hav eour MH -- should be this fall and we are not drinkers but it just occured to me that it would be good to check out how alcholic beverage laws apply to MHs. I would guess it is not open bottles but not sure and what would be considered an open bottle -- a partialy consumed bottle of wine or somethng stronger or ?

Hi All,
Like Frankie we have made pizza & popcorn, and even heat up not messy leftovers in the Microwave!
Like JudyandJim we have also done the crockpot in the sink trick!
mrmrsbb,
A motorhome is a little different then a regular car when it comes to alcholic beverages, but of course the driver can not be imparied or in reach of the open container. I can't say for sure because laws are differnt in many states, but I can't see you getting in any trouble for haveing an open bottle of wine in your fridge, or under the bed or in a kitchen cabinet. Also if you want to play it even more safe you could keep any open bottles in one of the OUTSIDE LOCKED compartments !!!! just my 2 cents worth !!
