Ok, this was a very popular dish when I made this at our October-fest last October for our potluck. Very simple

1 (8 oz.) can cream corn
1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn (un-drained)
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1 stick butter, melted
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

Remember do not drain the whole kernel corn
Put it in a 8x8 square pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour

*Make sure your camper is level*

Wow first you mess up chili and now you mess up corn fritters.

Take this recipe for French toast.

Get two french men, slice them real thin and lay them on the roof in 110 degree heat.

my friend makes a corn CASSEROLE almost the same way - it is delicious. She adds some green chilis for some spice!

Andy - keep posting your recipes and ignore the rude people!

That is real good Andy, you need to add jalapenos or green chilies to make it more better.

Come on down and visit us in Texas and we'll feed you really well on Tex-Mex, BBQ and sea food.

Ok lets point out the issues here.
number A- here in West Michigan we don't spice things up like the people in the south.
Letter 2- it's not more better...it's more bestest

We lived in Toronto for 2 years and were in eastern PA for a while. The food in PA was certainly less spicy than what we eat.

If you notice, in most countries, the northern areas had food that was much less spicy than their cousins in the south. Look at the difference in norther and southern China, northern and southern Italy as examples.

When in PA, we were given what they considered very good chili recipe. It was OK as a tomato soup with hamburger...but not chili.

Our Son -in-laws family is from Michigan and he grew up in Texas. He says that he sure hates to go back up north....has to take along a bottle or two of Tabasco and some Cajun seasoning.

Hey Andy, we like joshing you about the food. Come on down to a Texas Boomer rally. I guarantee that you will be well fed. We describe the group as an Eating Club with an RV disorder...or is it the other way around.

Ken
