Apple-Glazed Roast Pork- Crockpot

4 lb Pork loin roast -- trimmed
1/4 c Apple juice
Salt to taste
3 tb Brown sugar
Pepper to taste
1 ts Ground ginger
6 Apples -- quartered

1. Rub roast with salt
and pepper. Brown port roast under broiler to remove excess fat; drain well.
2. Place apple quarters in bottom of crockpot. Place roast on top of Apples.
3. Combine apple juice, brown sugar, and ginger. Spoon over top surface of roast, moistening well.
4. Cover and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours or until done.

Barbeque Chicken Crockpot

4 lg Chicken Breasts; Skinless, Boneless
1 cn Condensed Tomato Soup
3/4 c Onion; Chopped
1/4 c Vinegar
2 tb Brown Sugar
1 tb Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Sweet Basil
1/4 ts Thyme

Place chicken in slow cooking pot. Combine all other ingredients and pour over chicken - cover tightly and cook at low for 6 to 8 hours.

Brisket Crockpot Dinner

5 lb Brisket; trimmed
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 lg Carrot; chopped
2 ts Salt
1 Bay leaf
1 1/2 ts Thyme
1 c Water
1 lb Tiny onions; peeled
6 md Carrots; 1/4 " pcs

Cut brisket in half or roll to fit into Crock-Pot. Add chopped onion, chopped carrot, bay leaf, thyme, salt and water. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. When meat is done, lift gently from stock. Support underneath with a spatula and keep warm. Add small onions and carrots to stock in Crock-Pot. Cover and cook on high 1 to 2 hours. Remove vegetables from broth with a slotted spoon and arrange around the meat.

3 One pound cans kidney beans drained
2 One pound cans tomatoes cut up
2 lb Ground beef browned and drained
2 md Onions coarsely chopped
1 c Diced celery
1 Glove minced garlic
4 -6 tablespoons chili powder
1 ts Cumin
-salt and pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in Crockpot in order listed. Stir once. Cover and cook on Low for 10 12 hours or High 5 - 6 hours.

4 Loin chops; lean
2 md Onions; sliced
1 ts Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Spices of your choice

Stand chops in crock pot, thin side down. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and spices of your choice. Cover with the onion slices, which have been separated into rings. Place butter on top. and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or until chops are tender and onions are done. The result is moist, tender chops with a deep brown color as if broiled in the oven

1 Frying chicken; cut up
8 oz Cream cheese cut into cubes
2 tb Melted butter or margarine
1/2 c Sauterne wine or sherry
Salt and pepper
2 tb Dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 cn Condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tb Chopped onion

Bruch chicken with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in a crockpot and sprinkle dry mix all over. Cover and cook on low for 6 -7 hours. About 45 minutes before done, mix soup, cream cheese, wine and onion in small saucepan. Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken, cover and cook another 45 minutes. Serve with sauce.

3 lb Stew beef (the cheapest kind)
1 Rib celery; chopped
1 md Onion; chopped
1/2 Green pepper; chopped
1 1/2 c Ketchup
1 1/2 tb Commercial barbecue sauce
1 1/2 tb Vinegar
1 1/2 ts Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 ts Chili powder
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper

Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. Simmer on low for 6-8 hours...longer, if desired. When meat is tender, shred it, using two forks.
Return it to the pot for about 10 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
Notes: There will be a lot of liquid before you shred the meat. Simply shred the meat, put it back in the pot, and it will absorb all the liquid.
Trust this recipe!
The "shredding" takes a few minutes, but it's easy to do. Just pull the meat apart into shreds with the forks. This can be frozen and it reheats well in the microwave.

4 lb Lean beef cubed
1 1/2 c Red wine
1/3 c Oil
1 ts Thyme
1 ts Black pepper
8 sl Bacon, diced
2 Cloves garlic crushed
1 Onion diced
1 lb Mushrooms sliced
1/3 c Flour

Marinate beef in wine, oil, thyme & pepper 4 hours at room temp. or overnight in the fridge. In large pan, cook bacon until soft. Add garlic & onion sauteeing until soft. Add mushrooms & cook until slightly wilted. Drain beef reserving liquid. Place beef in slow cooker. Sprinkle flour over the beef stirring until well coated. Add mushroom mixture on top. Pour reserved marinade over all.

1 1/2 lb Boneless beef chunk or round steak (up to 2-1/2)
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Garlic salt
1 tb Worcestershire sauce

1 tb Catsup
2 tb Dry white wine
1/4 lb Sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 c Flour
1 c Sour cream
Rice or noodles; to serve -5-6

Cut beef in strips or cubes. Coat with salt and pepper .Place in bottom of crock pot. Mix garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, beef bouillon and catsup.
Pour over meat. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours until tender. Turn up to High. Add 2 T. dry white wine and mushrooms. Dissolve flour in small amount of water. Add to meat mixture. Stir to blend. Cook on High for 15 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream. Turn off heat. Serve with rice or noodles.

1 c Tomatoes; cut up (16 oz.)
1 c Tomato paste; (6 oz.)
3 c Chicken; cubbed, cooked
1 pk Frozen succotash Or 1 pkg. frozen okra;slice

1 Bay leaf
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Rosemary;dried, crushed
1/2 ts Pepper
1 ds Ground cloves
2 1/2 c Chicken broth

In Crockpot, stir together UNDRAINED tomatoes and tomato paste. Add chicken, FROZEN succotash or sliced okra, onion, bay leaf, salt, rosemary, pepper and cloves. Stir in chicken broth. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 5 to 6 hours. Before serving, remove bay leaf and stir well. Makes 6 servings.

1 tb Vegetable oil
2 Garlic cloves
2 ts Chili powder
1 15 oz tomato sauce
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Pepper

2 Cans red kidney beans

Put ribs in pot of boiling water, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove ribs from water and drain well to remove as much fat as possible. (This can easily be done the evening before to save time in the morning.) Brown ribs in hot oil. Remove, drain all but 1 tsp fat. Add chopped garlic, lightly brown in oil^^. Add chili powder, tomato sauce, bring to simmer. (I do all of this the evening before to save more time.) Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper put in crockpot. Add sauce and sliced onion.
Cover and slow cook 6 to 8 hours on low. Remove bones from pot, skim off any visable fat. Add kidney beans, cover and cook on high one hour. Serve with cornbread.

1 c Macaroni;cooked and drained
1 Envelope onion soup mix
1/4 c Grated Parmesan cheese
3 c Boiling water

Crumble beef into slow-cooking pot. Add pepper,oregano, basil, seasoned salt, and dry soup mix. Stir in water, tomato sauce and soy sauce; then add celery and carrots. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Turn control to high. Add cooked macaroni and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.

4 lb Chicken cut into serving Pieces
1 c Chicken broth
1/4 lb Butter
2 c Orange juice
1 c Raisins
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 ts Cinnamon
2 tb Flour

Heat butter in large skillet, & brown chicken. Remove chicken pieces to slow cooker as they brown. Combine all other ingredients, except flour, mix well & pour over chicken. Cover pot, turn on LOW & cook 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender. Remove 1 cup of sauce from the pot & combine with flour, mixing well. Return sauce - flour mixture to pot. Turn pot on HIGH, & cook additional half hour.

8 oz Small shells (cooked)
8 oz Mozzarella cheese
8 oz Provolone cheese
1 lb Hamburger; cooked
1 cn Mushroom
1 pt Sour cream
1 qt Sauce

Mix sauce, hamburg, shells and mushrooms together. Put 1/2 in crock pot, pour sour cream over this and sliced provolone; now rest of sauce mixture, sliced (or shredded) mozzarella on top. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
NOTE: This is excellent, great for parties!!!! I have a large crockpot and usually double this recipe and it fits fine.

2 lb Round steak
1/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
2 Onions
1 tb Worchestershire sauce
1 ts Curry powder
1 ts Molasses

1 c Sour cream
2 tb Horseradish sauce

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut round steak into cubes. Toss meat cubes with flour mixture. Brown in a little hot oil. Put in crockpot, add sliced onions, Worchest. sauce, curry, molasses, ginger and water. Cover and slow cook 6 hours. Just before serving add sour cream mixed with horseradish. Serve with rice, peas and cottage cheese/pear salad

6 Green peppers
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb Lean ground beef
1/4 c Finely chopped onion
1 ts Prepared mustard
1 tb Chopped pimiento
1 ts Salt
10 3/4 oz Can cream of tomato soup
12 oz Can whole kernel corn

Cut a slice off top of each pepper. Remove core, seeds, and white membrane. In a small bowl, combine beef, onion, pimiento, salt, and corn. Spoon into peppers. Stand peppers up in slow-cooking pot. Add Worcestershire sauce and mustard to soup. Pour over peppers. Cover pot; cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
Makes 5 to 6 servings...

2 Potatoes, wash & slice
1/4 c Onion; chopped
1 1/2 c Sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
1 tb Brown sugar
1/2 c Unsweetened pineapple juice
2 Thick pork chops, trimmed
Pepper

Put potatoes in crockpot. Top with chopped onion. Combine sauerkraut, (1 can) with brown sugar and pineapple juice. Spoon over potatoes. Top with pork chops which have been trimmed of fat. Season with pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
Serve with rye bread and microwave baked apples.

12 Large cabbage leaves
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 Beaten egg
1 c Cooked rice
1/4 c Milk
8 oz Tomato sauce
1/4 c Finely chopped onions
1 ts Brown sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Pepper
1 tb Lemon juice

Immerse cabbage leaves in large kettle of boiling water for about 3 minutes or until limp; drain. Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef, and cooked rice. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in the center of each leaf; fold in sides and roll ends over the meat. Place in a crock-pot. Combine tomato sauce with brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours... Makes 6 servings...

2 Potatoes, wash & slice
1/4 c Onion; chopped
1 1/2 c Sauerkraut, rinsed & drained
1 tb Brown sugar
1/2 c Unsweetened pineapple juice
2 Thick pork chops, trimmed
Pepper

Put potatoes in crockpot. Top with chopped onion. Combine sauerkraut, (1 can) with brown sugar and pineapple juice. Spoon over potatoes. Top with pork chops which have been trimmed of fat. Season with pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
Serve with rye bread and microwave baked apples.

Crockpot Swedish Cabbage Rolls

12 Large cabbage leaves
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 Beaten egg
1 c Cooked rice
1/4 c Milk
8 oz Tomato sauce
1/4 c Finely chopped onions
1 ts Brown sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Pepper
1 tb Lemon juice

Immerse cabbage leaves in large kettle of boiling water for about 3 minutes or until limp; drain. Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef, and cooked rice. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in the center of each leaf; fold in sides and roll ends over the meat. Place in a crock-pot. Combine tomato sauce with brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours... Makes 6 servings...

You don't know that I've filled my wife's cutNpaste receipe program already. Are all these receipes in your cookbook? I'm going to order one! This is gonna be hard on my "seefood" diet. I already know you are on the level.

No these are the ones from my private collection. The mderator removed my cookbook ad for the collection of money to benefit the Shrine Childrens hospital. He said it was advertising no matter what the cause was. So I emailed him back and said not a problem, that raising money to help burnt and cripple children was usaully on the bottom of most peoples lists of concerns until they need it.
Shriners raise money to support free medical to the parents of children that are burnt or that are crippled It cost us 2.1 million dollars each day to run these hospitals that are at no charge to the parents, for medical service, transportation, lodging etc. So next tme you see a shriner raising money for the children try to dig deep and help, even if it;s only change. Every penny goes to the children.
